Our Mission |
To help build a stronger, thriving and self-supporting economy for St. Charles |
County through investment, job growth and retention. |
As a public-private initiative established in 1990 to serve as the lead economic development organization for all of St. Charles County, the Economic Development Center (EDC) has earned a reputation for being "the business growth experts" working in partnership with local government, community and business leaders, and other regional organizations. |
| |
Over the years, the impact of the EDC has been shown through successful business financing programs, job creation, small business incubation, business recruitment and retention, and award-winning marketing efforts. |
| |
Recognizing that economic development is a team effort involving many different players throughout the process of recruiting and/or retaining local companies, the EDC is proud to play an important role in helping grow new jobs and expand the tax base in St. Charles County. |
| |
At the EDC, "Growing Your Business is Our Business!". |
